Knitting socks

I LOVE knitting. I think it has a true connection to Yoga, as well. Knitting brings your mind and body into a special place that is conducive to meditation and relaxation. Knitting with friends brings social connection and joy while knitting alone can be peaceful and soothing. Try to find a group to knit with and make some new friends...

Some Tips for First Time Knitters:

1. Find a local yarn store. These places are usually friendly and helpful. Ask them how to find a beginner's knitting class or books to help you along. You will find amazing yarns and might spend hours there!

2. You WILL make mistakes, but even seasoned knitters do, too! Take a class on how to fix your knitting mistakes and it will be well worth your money.

3. Carry your knitting everywhere in a cute, comfortable bag. You never know where you will be...you might have a long time to wait and can get some of your current project done and relax at the same time, too!
